Mauricio Arce: Owner

After serving the DMV as an LRE for over 30 years, Mauricio opened up The Academy of Driving after seeing the need for new safe drivers. He convinced his son, Joshua to join ranks and together they run AOD as their family business. Mauricio is now running shop as the Owner and Operator.

Joshua Arce:
Owner/Operator/Office Advisor
Joshua is Mauricio’s son. He has been working for the family business since 2013. Not only does Joshua teach driving but he is also the Office Director. Joshua is dedicated to teach his students to be safe and responsible after surviving a horrific accident when he was 19 years old. He stays motivated to keep such things from happening to others.

Carlos Flores: Partner/Instructor

Carlos has been a partner for The Academy of Driving for over 4 years. Previously having 35 years working as a pressman, he is excited to be teaching students how to drive. Carlos is our soft spoken instructor, he specializes in teaching nervous nellies how to get their license. When Carlos is not instructing, he enjoys spending time with his family or working on DIY home projects.
